Clearing your browsers history can solve a lot of common browser problems and is quick and easy to do.

Hint:  To find out which browser and version you are using, click the About option from your browsers Help menu.  If you have Firefox, please see our tips about clearing Firefox history here.

The following steps will completely clear all your browsing history including: temporary files, cookies, history, form data and passwords.

First, select Delete Browsing History… from the Tools menu.

The Delete Browsing History Window:

From this dialog box, you can clear temporary files, cookies, history, form data and passwords separately by clicking on the associated buttons or clear them all by clicking the Delete all… button.

Please note: The Delete all... and the Delete Passwords options will clear all of your saved passwords from Internet Explorer!  There is no Undo.  This means all of your passwords for bank sites, email sites, RRU sites, etc... will be cleared.  If you don't have these passwords memorized, you may need to contact their website support team to request a password reset for their site.

With that in mind, please click the Delete files… button next to Temporary Internet Files then click Yes.  You can also click the Delete Cookies button and then click Yes.  Once you're finished, click Close the close all Internet Explorer windows to finalize the changes.

If you receive the following Delete Browsing History window appears, place a checkmark next to the Also delete files and settings stored by add-ons option and click the Yes button to finish.

After clearing the Temporary Internet Files and/or Cookies, please make sure you close all Internet Explorer windows to finalize the changes.
