Permissions - Learners/Faculty

Access to Online Resources:

In order to access the tools you require for Online Learning, your Computer Account must have the correct permissions.  Typically, when your Computer Account is set up, permissions are granted to allow you to access your online courses, files and folders, the RRU Learner Commons community to access your personal information, printers and online library resources.

You will use the same Computer Account to access all of these services and occasionally, something may get missed.  If you are having difficulty logging into something you think you should have permission to, please contact us via the online request form on the menu to your left.
 

Secure Team Folders:

Sometimes, a specific team you are working with requires access to a private folder, one that your other course mates can't access.  If this is the case, please contact us using the online request form and include the following information in your request:

  • The name of your program / course.
  • The path to the folder you would like created.
    • You can often create the folder yourself.
  • The name of the folder (Team 1).
  • The list of students who should have access to it.
    • Also mention if you want other teams to have Read Access.

Once we have received this information, we can set up the folder and appropriate permissions for you.
