Please note: In order for us to meet the needs of all our users, you may see application icons as well as items in the program list that do not apply to you. In most cases these programs will require authentication to access them or they will just not do anything if you try to open them. Please simply ignore any icons and programs that you do not use to fulfill your daily tasks.
Are you having difficulty logging on to Sentinel?
Well, the good folks at Microsoft have created an update that makes Remote Desktop more secure. However, this does cause some access issues.
If you are showing "Sentinel\username" for your username, please change it to "instructional\username" (or click Options and select "Instructional" from the drop down menu and remove the "Sentinel\" portion from in front of your username).
If you have the option to save your password, please do so, unless you're on a public or shared computer where this would be a security issue.
*If you get a pop-up warning saying the Remote Desktop Connection cannot verify the identity of the computer you are connecting to...Do you want to connect anyway? Click "Yes" (This message displays because Gabriel is not a Vista server.)
